Brad’s World Reptiles was established in 1982 by Brad Tylman and it continues to thrive today, driven by Brad’s passion for education and nature. Brad graduated from Oregon State University in 1987 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology. He has since traveled the globe accumulating vast knowledge about the natural world; information that he shares with others in educational shows that thrill and entertain guests all while educating them about some of the most beautiful and exotic animals on our planet. The staff at Brad’s World shares his enthusiasm and passion for education, and provides quality memorable interactions with the public. These shows are truly unique experiences where visitors embark on an adventure that is enhanced through interactions with amazing live reptiles, amphibians, and other exotic species.

Brad’s World Reptiles has worked with The Oregon Zoo, the Oregon Museum of Science & Industry (OMSI, where Brad was once a curator), and participated in the filming of TV shows as recently as this year with SnakeBytes TV and as early as 1995 with the international show “Crocodile Hunter.” Brad is also on the Oregon Dept of Fish & Game Wildlife Integrity Task Force, and responds to rattlesnake complaints routed throughout Linn and Benton County 911 emergency services. In addition to providing education, Brad’s World Reptiles also maintains one of the largest self-sustaining reptile breeding facilities in the state of Oregon; producing many common and rare species of reptiles for education and the pet trade. This breeding facility produces some of the most unique color variations available, and these unique mutations are often featured at educational shows to demonstrate color polymorphism.

The reptile farm is also a haven for rescued animals and is one of the only facilities in Oregon capable of taking in large abandoned reptiles. Work at the reptile farm is not only reserved for exotic species however; Brad has been restoring the ten acres of forest and wetlands where his Corvallis reptile farm is kept with the goal of re-establishing a natural habitat for native species. This once barren field is now home to a plethora of native wildlife and is an amazing haven to visit. The natural ecosystem restoration is a perfect companion to the exotic species contained within the facilities presenting a well-rounded view of the world.
